As some of you know, I recently left corporate America to pursue new challenges after 18 years at Monitronics International, Inc. as one of the founding officers and owners serving as Vice President and Treasurer. Using venture capital, the executive team and our outstanding employees took the company from a start up in late 1994 to one of the top security alarm monitoring companies in North America today. Along the way, we experienced exponential growth of the company achieving recognition in Inc. magazine’s nationwide survey, the Inc. 500 Fasting Growing Privately-Held Companies, a record 7 years in a row. We consummated the sale of the company in December 2010, which was the largest sale that year in the U.S. of a privately-backed corporation. It was a great run to say the least! Not willing to rest for too long, I pursued a new entrepreneurial venture. I purchased franchise rights to open Elements Massage studios in the Dallas area. This national franchise has significant momentum and is rapidly gaining market share across the country offering retail therapeutic massage services. My first studio opened May 25, 2013 in Richardson. A second studio opened in Lakewood in August 2014. In April, 2022, I expanded from two to five Elements Massage studios! In addition to the locations in Richardson and Lakewood, I acquired the locations in Preston Hollow, West Plano and Frisco. Due to a substantial increase in rent, I closed my Preston Hollow studio in October 2023. I sold my Frisco studio in February 2024 to a fellow franchisee in Frisco. I now maintain teams of outstanding therapists, front desk associates and management staff at three studios to offer services throughout North Dallas. Our goal and promise is to have satisfied, stress-free clients and wellness members in a safe and welcoming environment. Now all you have to do is come see us!
