About Steve Henderson

Steve Henderson is a BC-based producer and creative at Arcade Motion. He works for brands such as National Geographic, The North Face, Monster, Red Bull, Google, BRP, and countless others. He has collaborated with artists, filmmakers, and athletes in locations around the world - on projects that have screened and broadcasted internationally and taken home awards from the Banff Mountain Film Festival, VIMFF, Cannes, and Vimeo Best of the Year. Steve has traveled extensively through the world’s mountainous regions - uncovering stories of culture, athleticism, and climatic changes in ranges as diverse as the British Columbia Coastal Range, the Canadian and American Rockies, the Karakoram, Himalaya, Andes, Iceland, and the Alps. Since early 2015 Steve has worked on over 50+ commercials/films both in-field and in the edit bay in a range of positions from creative development, field producing, directing, shooting virtual reality content, on-location sound, to lead editor. Most recently directing and producing Into Water - a four part virtual reality series for National Geographic in late 2019, and producing two NatGeo expedition films to Mt. Logan, Canada and Nevado Ausangate, Peru in 2022 with Arcade Motion. In 2024, Steve produced the upcoming feature "Trango" for The North Face, and co-directed/produced Monster Energy's "Barefoot Pilot".
