About Steve I.

What drives me. I strive to lead with compassion and a servant's heart - whether that's organizing a men's coffee group in my neighborhood, coaching a youth basketball team at church, or engaging my coworkers with open ears and a helpful demeanor. I believe my professional interactions with peers, direct reports, or executives have the potential to not just effect revenue, KPIs, and project success. I believe these interactions have the potential to drive change within us individually, within our families, and within our communities. One positive, encouraging interaction can change your attitude for the day. Day after day, these interactions can start to change someone's mindset and outlook on life. Our day-to-day interactions at "work" have so much power. That is why I'm passionate about being a leader. I want to use the influence I have to positively impact my team, organization, and community. My experience. When I began my professional career, I had my eyes set on commercial lending. I wanted to help local businesses meet the needs of our community. I wanted to serve those who serve. While working toward that goal, I had the opportunity to become SME for our market on several new banking applications we were implementing. I enjoyed that experience so much that I formally transitioned to an IT role. For over 10 years, I've had the pleasure of managing IT systems in a banking environment. I love what I do!
