Background
About Steve Jablonski
Hi, I’m Steve Jablonski, a senior creative producer at Creativa, a full 360-degree production and creative agency in Melbourne, where I help brands and clients tell their stories. I have over 20 years of experience in the film, television and related media industries. I’m passionate about storytelling and visual media. I love working across different genres, platforms and formats. I have a clear understanding of audience and combine creativity and strategic thinking to deliver bold, original and engaging content. I’m a leader who can manage teams and projects with efficiency and professionalism. Here are some of the things I do:* Produce and direct award-winning short and feature films, ranging from drama and comedy to sci-fi and horror.* Create commercials, music videos, animations, corporate communications and branded content for various sectors and audiences.* Lead teams and projects with efficiency and professionalism, from conception to completion, delivery and distribution.* Collaborate with other passionate and talented people in the industry. Some of my notable works I’ve produced include:* ‘How Do You Know Chris?’, a drama about friendship and betrayal, released in Australian cinemas in late-2020 and available to stream on Stan.* ‘Crime & Punishment’, an independently funded film adaptation of Dostoevsky’s masterpiece novel, premiered at the White Nights Festival in St Petersburg, Russia, and won numerous awards at film festivals around the world.* ‘Acts of God’, a short narrative drama selected for the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) Accelerator program and nominated for the Short Grand Prix award at Warsaw Film Festival.* ‘Mother’s Day’, a short film that premiered at Flickerfest, Australia’s leading Academy Award accredited and BAFTA-recognised short film festival.* ‘Galactic Sex Wars’, a short film that won the Best Australian Short Film award at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival (MQFF), the largest queer film festival in the Southern Hemisphere. I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to expand my skills and network. If you want to work with me or just chat about film, TV or anything else, feel free to reach out on here or contact me at steve@stevejablonski.tv. You can also visit my website at stevejablonski.tv. Thanks for reading my bio. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
