Stephen is an MBA and is currently the DMT Senior Project Manager covering operating contracts and also assisting in the preparation of proposals and contractual negotiations at varying stages of new projects covering surface and underground mining operations. Stephen has over 45 years extractive industry of which 30 years is mining experience up to Corporate Management level in both surface and underground mining operations and polymetallic. Stephen is responsible for proposal preparation for large scale engineering projects as well as ILE and Owners Engineer roles. Since 2005 Stephen has been the Project Manager for DMT Consulting Ltd, based in France but operates internationally. He manages a number IL projects covering nickel, iron Ore, lead/zinc, uranium and copper Stephen has specialised in Due Diligence and Independent Lenders Engineer/Owners Engineer roles since 2010. Additionally, Stephen is a Specialist Supply Chain Management having worked in senior posts at various mines around the world; he has experience in open pit and underground mining and gold, copper, nickel, iron ore, coal mines; Stephen has vast experience in International Contracts and Procurement and executes this role alongside his Project Management roles Stephen has extensive knowledge of donor funding and commercial and development banks and has consulted to Government departments consistently since 2010. Professionally, Stephen is a highly qualified Supply Chain Expert, particularly in developing nations and well versed in establishing sustainable teams of locals and expatriates to perform Supply related activities.
