About Steve Judson

At my core, I’m a mentor. Someone who walks beside others as they uncover their strength, reclaim their story, and learn to trust themselves again. My work has always centered around guiding people through challenge, whether it’s navigating recovery, reentry, spiritual awakening, or personal growth. Over the past decade, I’ve led from the inside: founding a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy, directing peer support services for justice-involved individuals, and helping build programs that combine structure, compassion, and accountability. I’ve supervised teams, developed leadership models, facilitated groups, and held space for transformation in both clinical and ceremonial settings. What grounds me is lived experience. I know what it takes to rebuild. I’ve trained in trauma-informed transformational integration coaching through Being True To You. I’ve also completed transformational work with PSI Seminars and the Hoffman Process, and I’ve devoted decades to practicing presence, humility, and discipline through the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Whether I’m mentoring someone in recovery, coaching a team member, or holding space in ceremony, my approach is simple: lead by example, listen deeply, and never forget the power of being fully present with another human being on their path.
