I am a Senior Systems Generalist, which means I have worked in a wide variety of technologist roles in the Madison Wisconsin area (for nearly twenty years) and occasionally in the greater Chicago metropolitan area (extreme-commuting from Madison). I have worked in Development, Customer Support / Implementation, Quality Assurance / Standards, and Systems / Database administration. Currently I am a Tools Programming Specialist at Extreme Engineering Solutions in Middleton, Wisconsin. Specialties: I have been a Perl / Unix script / Linux / RDBMS programmer for many years (as well as an old-style C / embedded Oracle SQL programmer on very large applications) also specializing in systems & database administration, tuning / monitoring, & using short command-line Perl scripts. I've implemented everything from tiny XSLT stylesheets to very large Perl applications such as RT (Request Tracker's version was 3.4.4 last year). I've trained in the CMMI Level 3 certification process.
