About Steve Keltner
Steve unapologetically earned his undergraduate degree with a double majoring in English Composition & Communications. Holding the firm belief that medical education would teach everything needed to diagnose and treat patients, he focused on understanding patients and the human condition. This lead to a clear understanding of the Humanities side of medicine, something that has been lacking in medical education. Steve practiced in one of Indiana’s medically underserved and busiest emergency departments for 20 years. He also served ten years as an adjunct faculty member in the Health Sciences Department at Butler University. He was inducted into Pi Alpha National Honor Society as an instructor for "Excellence in Scholarship, Service and Leadership." He served on the Health Science Board of Visitors for twelve years. His eclectic interests have served well in connecting with patients and clients. His ability to break down complex concepts to easier examples is exceptionally as he helps clients understand the importance of combining what he calls the "business v. practice of medicine paradigm."
