About Steve Kidd

After received my Bachelors of Science at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville for Construction Management I started working for Barnard Construction, a company that specializes in heavy civil dams, reservoirs, and hydroelectric power plants, and much more. For the next 6 years I traveled the country working on a variety of construction projects, including: a 6 Billion Gallon drinking reservoir in Arcadia Florida (Peace River Reservoir), then on rebuilding the oldest underground hydroelectric powerplant in Snoqualmie Washington, followed by structurally reinforcing the Cherokee and Douglas Dams in Tennessee, C-44 reservoir which is the largest above ground reservoir in the United States. Most recently I have been added to the Calgary Green Line LRT Project during the Design and Development phase as the Project Controls Manager. In the midst of those projects I spent 18 months working for URS at the Kennedy Space Center, focusing mainly on the updated to the Vertical Assemble Building (VAB) Bay 3 Platforms, and structural upgrades to the Mobile Launcher (ML) in order to support the new SLS rocket (Artemis)!
