About Steve Kovac

With a career spanning over 30 years as a Senior Manager at several multi-dimensional companies, I have always been able to easily transition from one industry to another. I am customer-driven, with an innate ability to understand their unique wants and needs. One of my key strengths is the ability to listen and communicate the customer’s expectations, and leverage the resources of the company and stakeholders to achieve superior results. Over the course of my career, this was consistently accomplished through process improvements, system enhancements, and a motivated and capable staff, all the while keeping an eye on the bottom line. My passion and dedication are contagious. I lead by example, and expect as much, if not more, of myself than any team member. I am equally at ease engaged in conversation with all level of the organization, whether a C-level executive, a programmer, a sales rep, or a shipper—one-on-one, or presenting at a town hall meeting. This is an inherent skill. My tenure at every company typically began in one discipline, and quickly transitioned to greater areas of responsibility. My inquisitiveness, constant need to learn and grow, a desire to immerse myself in the industry, and an ability to think outside the box lead to numerous promotions and new challenges that I eagerly accepted. I have been told that I have one leg firmly planted in Finance, the other in Sales, but my core is centered on the Customer—both internal and external—
