As a principal in The 20/20 Network, I've managed media and strategic communications for the nation's largest metropolitan planning organization (the Southern California Association of Governments), won approval for major real estate developments and helped one of the nation's largest nonprofit community builders become a leading voice on housing affordability. I spent the first 34 years of my career as a national award-winning newspaper reporter, editor and publisher, managing information, developing and shaping strategic plans around audience targets, and building vast networks of business, political and community connections. As chief executive officer, I led my company – through team-building, strategic vision and execution – to greater profitability in a daunting economic climate.
