About Steve Lea

I am a data risk manager with a unique ability to find simple solutions to complex problems. As an original member of US Bank’s Basel risk management team, I created operational loss processes, procedures and controls that were systematic, verifiable and repeatable. This included the identification, capture, aggregation and analysis of operational impacts. I was recognized for these accomplishments and the significant roll they had in obtaining regulatory approval for U.S. Bank’s use of the A.M.A. approach to economic capital. I managed the creation of an online tool used by the bank’s risk managers and continue to manage enhancements to database and the Web Tool functionality. Additionally, I have developed strong and lasting relationship with the business line risk managers and their senior management teams.
