Stephen Legge was a Damage Prevention Officer with Canadian National Railway (CN). He began his career with CN in 1989 in Mechanical as a Carman Apprentice. Since then, he has held various positions in Operations, Intermodal, Revenue Management, Marketing and Safety and Regulatory Affairs. In 2006, Stephen went back to university to obtain a degree in Occupational Health and Safety. Stephen also holds certificates in Occupational Heath and Safety Management, Environmental Management and has been accepted into the Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CRSP). He has held and participated in numerous conferences and training sessions on Safe Loading Practices for both carload and intermodal commodities; represented CN on Regulatory matters; and was CN’s Paper Representative and past railway chair on the AAR/QLT for paper and pulp.
