Steve Lowrie, CFA® founded Lowrie Financial in 2009 to offer successful families in the Greater Toronto Area a break from the status quo. In an industry that is typically focused more on selling products than serving individual investors’ best interests, Lowrie Financial is different. We build close, personalized client relationships based on three simple but powerful tenets:(1) As an independent portfolio manager, we’ve got no corporate quotas or similar conflicts of interest to distract us from our charge: tending to your wealth according to your highest interests.(2) We save investors like you from yourself, helping you ignore the traps laid by Bay Street’s hype and hysteria, so you can focus on what’s best for you and your family’s financial goals.(3) We help you apply evidence-based investing, structuring your portfolio according to 60+ years of academic inquiry into how markets have efficiently and effectively rewarded patient investors. Before creating Lowrie Financial, Steve gained 20+ years of experience at various Bay Street brokerage firms as a CFA® charterholder, advisor and manager, working with financial planners and insurance agents while crafting the distinct approach upon which Lowrie Financial was founded. In his free time, Steve is an avid skier and enjoys competing in mountain biking and multi-sport adventure races.
