I have been a valued member of the University of Queensland's Information Technology Services (ITS) team since 2007, serving in various contract and full-time positions. Throughout my time at the university, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in several areas, enabling me to expand my expertise and make significant contributions to the organization. My positions at the university have included End User Computing Manager, Desktop Support Services Team Leader, and Senior IT Support Officer for Desktop Fleet Management & VDI Support. In these roles, I have been responsible for a range of duties, including VDI administration, client support, fleet management, project management, desktop support, computer maintenance, one-on-one instruction, providing advice to clients, migrating to new technologies, relating to clients on a business level, applying time management skills, connecting internal hardware components, basic system administration, attending to printer problems, network and desktop troubleshooting, running standard diagnostic tests, and conducting new staff inductions. I have also obtained various qualifications and training throughout my career, including Certificate 1 and 2 in Information and Processing, Certificate 4 in Client Support, Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring - 070-640, Microsoft 70-642 Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Pro: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician - 070-685, Microsoft SCCM 2012 - 10747A: Administering System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, AppSense - EM, AM, MC, Microsoft 10961 - Automating Administration with Windows PowerShell v3.0, and VMware Horizon on Prem and Azure Cloud. In addition to my qualifications, I have also completed several training courses, including Recognition & Development, Managing Performance, Skills for first-time supervisors, Recruitment and Selection, and OH & S Supervisors. Overall, I am a dedicated and skilled IT professional with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
