Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager 25+ years of experience in mining, oil & gas, and major EPC projects across Canada and international locations. Over my career, I’ve built and led quality programs that ensure compliance, efficiency, and integrity across every stage of industrial construction, from fabrication and installation through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and final turnover. My focus has consistently been on developing QA/QC systems that meet ISO 9001 standards while remaining practical and adaptable to real-world field conditions. I’ve managed and coordinated all aspects of quality control, including contractor QC oversight, welding and NDE management, audit planning, and vendor surveillance. I’ve worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure full traceability of materials, adherence to technical specifications, and timely turnover of systems for commissioning and operations. A large portion of my work has centered around remote mining and industrial sites, where QA/QC coverage often requires strategic planning and resource efficiency. In these environments, I’ve developed fit-for-purpose quality programs that balance compliance with schedule and budget demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
