Since 1994 I have edited/proofread scientific publications in English for many scientists in various departments at the Weizmann Institute of Science and other institutions in Israel. As a long-time freelance science editor, I have considerable experience and expertise in editing and proofreading a wide range of subjects for non-native English scientists. I have edited numerous scientific papers, grant proposals, Powerpoint presentations, theses, several books, and short documents such as letters to the editor and letters of recommendation. I give special attention to correcting mistakes in grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation, improving the style and flow, checking for consistency and accuracy throughout the manuscript, as well as improving the clarity and readability. I make every effort to perform thorough work with a fast turnaround time (usually within 24 hours for medium-sized papers) and try not to change the author's intended meaning (I do not completely rewrite the text); I provide insightful suggestions and personal service.
