About Steve Marusky

My career in Real Estate began full time as a Realtor in 1983. In 1986 I transitioned into working exclusively in the Commercial Real Estate field. All told I have been a full time Realtor for 31 years. I was recognized as Realtor associate of the year by the Mercer County board of Realtors in 1989 and was recognized as the sales associate of the year at my firm for multiple years. In addition to my NJ Broker License, I earned the Pennsylvania Brokers license in 1998 and the Florida sales person license in 2008. I am a member of the Tri State commercial board of Realtors and the NJ association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. I am a graduate of the New Jersey Realtors Institute, having earned the GRI designation in 1986. I am also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), having earned that designation in 1989. As a CCIM I am recognized as an expert in the Commercial and Investment Real Estate Industry. The CCIM designation is earned through a process that not only ensures the CCIM is proficient in theory, but also in practice. A candidate must submit a completed portfolio of closed real estate transactions demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience. That is in addition to successfully undergoing a rigorous designation curriculum covering negotiation, ethics, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate and completing a comprehensive exam. During my career I have been involved and successfully completed many transactions including sales and leasing of investment properties, office, industrial, retail, business opportunities and analysis, and land sales and development. I am am the broker of record for Richardson Commercial Realtors.
