About Steve Matlock

I am very dedicated to my job and I am very team oriented. I enjoy the challenge of finding the correct parts and treat each parts order with a sense of urgency to prevent costly down time. In my time working for Wiese Planning I became very familiar with forklifts and high reach equipment and different aspects of inventory control. While working for Fabick Tractor I furthered my knowledge with heavy equipment and high reach equipment as well in helping our customers in purchasing parts for their Caterpillar and JLG equipment. At Fabick I also gained more knowledge with Caterpillar engines which has been an immense help in my time with TLG Peterbilt. Working for TLG Peterbilt I gained even more experience with parts for the trucking industry which personally for me felt more of an attachment to my childhood because of growing up around trucks with my father owning several trucks. I am now employed by Rush Truck Centers working in the position of back parts counterman assisting the service department with quotes for repairs and supplying our mechanics with parts and supplies needed for our customers trucks. Overall I feel I have had a very rewarding career and I have made a lot of friends.
