About Steve Milligan

Steve has been working in the banking and finance sector for over 30 years and holds a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of consumer, business and commercial lending. Beginning his career at Bankwest (then called R&I Bank), Steve gained invaluable project management experience and received his first management appointment at the age of 24. After 12 years in this role, Steve became Group Business Manager for Lane Group where he received the accolade for Top Western Australian Business Manager for 5 years in a row. Steve then started as a Mortgage & Business Finance Broker providing specialised advice on home loans, investment home loans, refinances and business/commercial loans. Steve has received several industry awards including the 2012 CEO Award and the 2010 & 2012 Business Diversification Awards. Steve is a founding director of Launch Finance which was formed in 2014 and holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) and numerous management and directorship courses, as well as membership with PLAN, MFAA and CIO. Outside of work, Steve lives the coastal life in Mandurah with his wife and 2 children and has held various pro bono roles including being a Board Member of Community First from 2001 – 2009.
