Setting and accomplishing goals. That is the pivotal philsophy I take in both my personal and professional life. It has always been about exceeding expectations, setting the bar high, and then raising it again. Early in my career, I worked hard to bring my skill set up to a higher standard at a very young age. I attended night school to obtain my MBA in less than two years. I stayed afterhours to learn how to be more effective with the computer (which was still a novelty at the time). I don't believe in events just happening to you — I believe you make the events and control your destiny. When I joined Fidelity National Financial as president of EC Purchasing, we were just a small start-up company with a dream. Now, we have more than members and make a strong financial contribution each year to our parent company. Each year, I will continue to raise the bar making this a better program for our customers and larger contributor to Fidelity.
