In my position I am responsible for ensuring Bank Of Ireland (BOI) delivers today, and builds for tomorrow, through enabling our customers, colleagues and communities to thrive. • Enterprise skills assessment that informs “Build” and “Buy” strategies to up-skill and re-skill existing colleagues and attract, select, retain and develop future colleagues to meet our Core Skills and Future Growth Skills capabilities and requirements. • Learning & Development that builds strategic capabilities and Career Agility across the Group. Core programmes to develop Leadership and Management capability with Functional and Specialised Skills Pathways that enable colleagues to grow and build enduring Careers at BOI. • Talent Assessment & Development at all levels from Early Careers through to Senior HiPo, Succession and Executive Development. Ensuring balanced, sustainable Talent Flows at all levels, providing development for all talent with additional, “catalyst programmes” to help achieve our I&D ambition. • Talent Attraction and Acquisition to ensure a highly skilled and diverse group of colleagues at BOI. This includes securing talent from all parts of society as well as from an increasingly competitive global talent marketplace. • Responsible Sustainable Business lead for “Enabling Colleagues to Thrive”. Our ambition is to become a “digitally able” learning organisation that values inclusion and diversity, reflects society and our customer base, while making a positive impact inside and outside BOI. We will do this through defined strategies and targets across our key focus areas of: Being Digitally Able, Driving Employability, Inclusive Development. Key areas- Learning & Development, Leadership & Management Development, Talent Assessment & Development (including Succession & Exec Development), Talent Attraction & Resourcing, Performance Management, Career Development, Early Careers including Interns, Apprenticeships Graduates and Returner Programmes, RSB strategy for colleagues.
