I work for Cisco which has become the Internet-of-Things (IoT) and cloud platform leader since its acquisition of Jasper. The Cisco Jasper Platform empowers enterprises and mobile operators of all sizes to deploy successful IoT service businesses on a global scale. Enterprises are looking to Cisco Jasper to help with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM/MDM). My last 11 years have been spent selling in these sectors. My application knowledge covers: • vehicle tracking; • automatic meter reading (AMR/aM & T); • remote monitoring; • the connected car; • 3G/4G for CCTV, DSL backup and initial deployment; • and many more. My years selling and consulting in this horizontal market have provided me with an understanding of and access to an extensive ecosystem of companies and contacts, from manufacturers to end users, that is of great worth in understanding the value chain in this market.
