An entrepreneur for more than 35 years now, involved in animal rehabilitation for over 30 of them. My passion is for all animals but have a special place for Parrots & Tigers. Founder of the National Parrot Sanctuary the UK's largest collection of Psittacines and now proud to be one of the world's largest parrot rescues. CEO of Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, the trading name for The Parrot Zoo Trust, a UK-registered charity. Every penny earned goes towards the care of the animals. I believe, when working with animals, transparency is the name of the game. Working in partnership with the University of Lincoln and affiliations with the University of York and the Institute of Vienna, our research programs aim to answer many questions concerning captive animals and their welfare. Our sanctuary consists of over animals with 99.8% arriving from the private sector covering animals ranging from Lions to Lemurs and Tigers to Tapirs with a vast array in between. It makes the stress and worries worthwhile and you realise what state the planet is in when you see a big cat step on grass for the first time in its life.and it's already six years old.
