In the 40+ years I have worked in the industrial heat processing industry, I have seen and learned a great deal about various manufactured products and manufacturing processes. In addition to working Horizon Performance Technologies, I am a member of the NFPA-86 Technical Committee for Ovens and Furnaces. NFPA-86 is the "bible" for industrial ovens and furnaces. It is a document that covers design, operation and maintenance requirements for that type of equipment. And if you are an oven-nerd like me, it is a big deal. I still retain my own consulting firm, Thermal Insite, LLC. Thermal Insite which consults directly to users of industrial ovens, washers and paint finishing systems on equipment recommendations, upgrades, and improvements. I have done a few articles for Process Heating Magazine. I have present papers at various trade shows. In 2021, I had a a peer-reviewed paper published by the North American Manufacturing Research Conference. I use my long experience to consult with customers and provide engineered process and equipment solutions to meet their needs and requirements. I am looking forward to the several years and the challenges that will be offered.
