I have enjoyed a wide range of experience based on my marketing, visual communications, and leadership abilities. Having worked in a variety of industries, I am now matching available job opportunities with open positions in firms nation-wide. I am also using my background with own firm, SEPia Creative performing freelance graphic work. Previously, that experience has been as Visual Communications Director for a leading construction consulting firm and Lead Designer for a Big Four professional services firm. I have also held positions as a legal assistant, marketing manager, administrative analyst, and college admissions counselor. I specialize in analyzing complex information and determining the most effective way to present that information to a wide range of audiences. Peer groups, employers, and the Texas State Legislature have recognized and awarded my abilities. My skill set also includes brand management, interactive strategy, and visual communications. I have worked in the global energy and utilities, engineering and construction, financial services, health care, education, marketing, technology, software development, higher education, and legal fields. Through progressive positions in civic involvement, I currently serve as the president of the Greater Eastwood, Lawndale & Wayside Super Neighborhood Co-councils representing about residents in Houston’s historic East End. I have served or am serving on city-wide committees focusing on development, redevelopment and flooding; street construction, maintenance, and drainage; neighborhood preservation, developing the city plan; expanding and refining the bike network; developing a strategic vision for the East End; and on beautification, litter reduction, and recycling education. I have also moderated large group meetings and been involved in community development.
