A Business Analyst the way a Swiss Army Knife is "a knife". As a business analyst I can drive and translate business, functional and technical needs into meaningful and testable requirements from internal and external stakeholders and document them as needed and in the format needed to be meaningful to both the business stakeholders and the developers:* An email with bullet points * Excel requirement grids * A complex Word doc with annotated images and tables of specifics * User stories with actor, action, purpose and testable results Additionally, I can work with development through a waterfall approach or agile process with well-defined user stories in an ever-changing backlog that we work through to determine level of effort and prioritize into sprints which I can also manage as scrum master from daily standups to sprint review and retrospectives. I also have experience in working with QA to assist with writing test cases and executing the testing process as needed. In addition to my business analyst “knife blade” skills I also offer abilities to serve as:* a project manager including scope definition, budgeting, task planning, coordination of resources, and status reporting up through the management chain * a user experience designer from development of personas to site maps to wireframes * a data analyst mapping data from disparate systems, driving to an understanding of nuanced differences between sources of data elements, general SQL queries and database maintenance, and visualizations in Tableau or Google Data Studio * a helpful and intuitive collaborator, whether dealing with ideas of others or my own, to address various kinds of problems including organizational challenges While I have primarily been a business analyst through my career, I have branched out in numerous ways as the situation required. I am adaptable to be what is needed at the moment the company needs it and to change over time as the company vision evolves.
