About Steve Power

As co-director at EHS Projects working with a great team of people I believe I am the one that holds the projects, the team and the company together with my roving eye for detail. Over the last 20 years I have worked in a number of senior posts including holding directorship of my own successful independent environmental consultancy previously to EHS and as a director within a large corporate multidisciplinary international engineering practice. EHS is the culmination of this experience where I feel I can provide the ideal platform for partnership and building long terms relationships with both new and long term clients. With this pedigree it means I cannot be described as anything other than a career consultant. Being one of the first generation environmental professionals I therefore have gained direct experience of most environmental and sustainability disciplines often as they have evolved and grown a life of their own. Having been in this privileged position I have not sat back but have innovated how these are delivered as the market has changed over the years setting my own and new standards for my clients. I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic companies including major international forward looking brands across most sectors over the years. My experience and knowledge of consulting and how things really work for clients on the ground has given me a positive but realistic approach to collaboration to unlock the potential that is always there within the value chain. When forced to I would say my main field of expertise is in strategy development, efficiency and environmental improvement projects, compliance, systems development and engagement. This is why as co-founder of BEAM, EHS’ sister company which together with Rob Habgood and a highly motivated creative team, I feel able to do something different alongside EHS and deliver true cutting edge innovation in training, engagement and reporting.
