About Steve Raizen

I am an experienced sales development, training and communications professional. My “super-power” is the ability to deliver complex information in a clear and concise manner perfectly crafted for my audience. I am a creative problem solver with the ability to see the large picture without neglecting the fine details. I thrive on challenges and love the opportunity to learn and establish mastery over new concepts. I love building and developing client relationships and use my interactions to provide excellent customer service and to achieve mutually beneficial results. I value honesty and fairness in my work and personal relationships and believe a positive approach will produce strong outcomes. When required, I can be counted on to deliver bad news in manner that protects and ultimately enhances the client relationship. A strong writer and Internet researcher, I craft emotive marketing and technical proposals. Equally comfortable with public speaking, I have trained sales managers and sales reps in over 100 newspapers across North America and in the UK. One of my training highlights was participating in a 12 city training trip in only 15 days. A relentless explorer of new technologies, I am comfortable using Office, OS X, and tablet software and effectively use social media. I can design and deliver successful presentations and training materials. I have worked internationally in business and development education, I have travelled and trained in Canada, US, UK and Colombia. With Canada World Youth, I’ve had extended stays in Ecuador, India, Thailand, Poland, and Jamaica. Outside of work, I am an electronic musician creating and recording music under the artist name of Frozen Lonesome. I am an active member of Apptronica, a global community of musicians of all genres creating, and recording using iPads and iPhones.
