About Steve Rastin

For over 20 years, I have focused on assisting clients in the area of personal injury law. I am a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation and have argued and won cases before all levels of the court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. I have proudly built my reputation by never being afraid to take on a challenge and stand up for what is right. Myself and my team of skilled lawyers and staff have repeatedly changed the landscape of the law by earning precedent-setting legal decisions that benefit not only my own clients, but injured people across Ontario. I am a frequently requested speaker for legal conferences aimed at educating both lawyers and health care professionals. I am an author of various legal publications and reference materials. I am a long-time Director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. I contribute to a number of important OTLA initiatives including government relations, interventions, Access to Justice and Helmets on Kids. I am a Past-President of OTLA. I am also a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates Society. An active member in my community, I have held positions as President of the Rotary Club, Chair of the Huronia District Hospital, Chair of the Ministry of Health’s Simcoe-Muskoka Hospital Network, and member of the Police Services Board.
