About Steve Roderick

I am a Technical Architect / Lead Developer with twenty one (21) years of experience in the IT Industry. I have played a variety of roles in numerous IT projects. From architecture roles to lead developer roles, my hands-on approach keeps me close to technology. I have extensive experience with the complete development life-cycle having had roles ranging from architect, designer, team lead and developer to analyst, tester and infrastructure engineer. I have designed and developed many projects within Java, PHP and.net development environments and have used many tools such as Sparx’s Enterprise Architect, the Eclipse IDE, the Visual Studio IDE family of tools, MYSql, Oracle, SQL Server, and IBM Websphere RAD & WID among many others. I also have a broad range of experience using the Spring / Spring.net AOP/IoC framework, Hibernate / nHibernate ORM tools, SOAP, SOA and SAAS. I have also designed databases for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MYSql, DB2 and Microsoft Access. I thoroughly enjoy being faced with difficult technical problems and constantly strive to keep my skills sharp by taking on the most challenging and interesting projects I can find.
