About Steve Roth

I have always had an innate motivation for helping others, this motivations is what led me to intern at a traumatic brain injury center while obtaining my bachelors in psychology, it inspired me to join my passion of rock climbing with rehabilitation which led to my rock climbing rehab program for clients with traumatic brain injuries. This motivation has taken me around the world twice, sometimes for travel and some for work. I lived and worked in South Korea for 2 years where I was a teacher during which I was promoted twice. Upon returning back to the United states I worked as a youth mentor for at risk youth, this led me to obtain my masters in social work, crisis and trauma intervention from Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv Israel. While there I learned a great deal about program planning, symptoms of trauma, building interventions, evidence based practices and more. During this time I interned at UNITAF a not for profit organization working with refugees and their children in order to provide a better future for them and their families. It is now my goal to make a home for myself here in Salt Lake and use the skills I have acquired throughout my life to better the lives of others-Steven Roth, LCSW
