I'm a highly accomplished Chartered Senior Engineering Manager with a reputation, built over 30 years in the automotive industry. I am known for my technical expertise in all automotive product development engineering disciplines, having led engineering delivery in JLR Special Vehicle Operations for 10 years. I have significant experience in multiple complex vehicle projects and components including high performance cars like the Range Rover SVR and Jaguar Project 8, luxury products like the Range Rover SVA and capability products like Discovery SVX concept car & Range Rover Sentinel (armoured). I am an adept leader and coach of a significant size engineering teams with annual budget of circa £100m, with success in major recruitment and team skill development to secure massive department expansion in terms of capacity and capability. I have skills in advanced project management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. My projects have been delivered to high quality and cost in dramatically shorter timescales than the norm. I have championed low volume solutions including additive manufacturing, and developed new suppliers.
