About Steve Rubio

I have extensive experience in manufacturing as a production supervisor and currently as a production manager. My other work experiences as a medical laboratory supervisor and materials receiving and management supervisor display flexibility. I have acquired proven leadership and other relevant transferable skills through my management carrier and earlier experiences as a Quality Systems ISO 9001 Management Representative and as a University Graduate. These skills include people motivation, communication, planning, organizing, problem solving, continuous improvement, procedure development, auditing, analyzing and reporting. My responsibilities through my career included: carrying out management mandates; compliance to safety and conduct policies; establishing and monitoring KPIs; inventory control; preventive maintenance; performance appraisals; recruitment of new staff; ensuring employee orientation and training. My open and approachable style encouraged strong team work and a positive work environment. As a production supervisor, I had excellent experience with a variety of process machines, packaging equipment and materials handling equipment including forklifts. My strengths include strong mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and hands on troubleshooting ability. As a medical lab supervisor, I coached for lab safety and good housekeeping practices. I expected excellent customer service and directly replied to and resolved customer feedback and/or concerns.
