With a Master's degree in Adult Education and Community Development as well as certifications in Teaching Effectiveness, Air Brake Endorsement Instruction, and MTO Fleet Signing Authority, I have the requisite knowledge and skill to provide instruction and facilitation for novice or experienced commercial drivers. Moreover, with my distinctive combination of technical competence, project management familiarity and writing/editing expertise I am capable of effectively targeting technical communications to any internal or external audience; balancing both organizational and user needs. This strong experience in a number of fields, combined with a strong cross-cultural background and a constant desire to research and learn new skills, enables me to adapt into and succeed in virtually any role. I have proven experience in developing and producing software documentation for applications such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and SharePoint, including training guides, user manuals, and video demos. I have used a number of technical communications programs to develop and edit these materials, including Adobe Captivate, Adobe FrameMaker and Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK). My solid attention to detail, and a strong understanding of andragogical theory, allows me to design and implement effective training within a positive and learner-centred instructional environment.
