Steve Schell provides leadership consulting in the IT industry with expertise in Retail Technology as well as Enterprise Collaboration and ERP implementations. With over 25 years experience in leading design, integration, implementation, and support of large scale Retail solutions across the globe along with long term strategic planning, Prior to his current role with Peak Portfolio, Steve worked for Starbucks in a number of management roles overseeing multiple teams and technology solutions with the last 4 years serving as vice president for the Starbucks global retail technology organization. Key examples of Steve’s responsibilities include leading the design and support of the Starbucks global POS solution running across the US, Canada, UK, and France markets. In addition, Steve led Starbucks Enterprise Collaboration solutions for the enterprise which included a very successful implementation of Sharepoint with a heightened focus on bringing a mobile based solution to Starbucks’ 100k+ partners across the globe. Steve also brings expertise on business challenges and technology solutions for store manager tools involving inventory management, labor scheduling, and time & attendance on a global scale. Prior to the last 4 years, Steve was the director of Retail Materials Management with responsibility for all things store facing in a Starbucks Global ERP project that was successfully implemented in Europe and North America for the company. During that time, Steve led the custom development of a new Inventory Management solution for all Starbucks stores as well as building and deploying new 3PL Supply Chain integrations for the ERP platform. Steve represented Starbucks on the Board for Airfuel Alliance, a consortium focused on bringing standards and business applicability to the wireless charging industry, while also overseeing the installation of wireless charging hotspots in a large number of Starbucks stores across the U.S.
