About Steve Sigel

I help Cisco business organizations develop and deploy solutions for compliance with global privacy regulations. This allows me to use the systems engineering skills that I built throughput my career. I develop the partnerships and work with the business and technical teams to solve their privacy compliance issues. My current efforts are focused on Individual Privacy Rights, Consent and Preference Administration. I am honored to work with a team of brilliant and talented people in the Cisco Privacy Center of Excellence. Our team works with all enterprise and acquisition organizations to assure Cisco is able to be compliant with global privacy regulations. I am a veteran of Cisco with many years leading large cross-functional projects that implement signification operational changes. These include; Data Privacy Response, Data Breach Incident Response, Secure Development Lifecycle, Enterprise Crisis Management and Network Systems Engineering. Long ago, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Now, I escape from work and the Minnesota winter by traveling to warm destinations, beaches and cooking on the grill.
