About Steve Slaughter

I have over 30 years of manufacturing, sales and executive professional experience in multiple industries producing water meters (Neptune Meter), HD truck seats (Bostrom Seating), custom upholstery for motorhomes (Kustom fit), specialty fuel trailers (Heil Trailer International) and hydraulic lifts (VSG).I have spent the last 25 years with Dover Corporation, which is an $8 billion diversified global manufacturer of value-added products and components that serve a variety of industrial and commercial markets. The last 15 years, I have been living outside the US in Bangkok, Thailand and Haimen, China. During this time, I worked 2 years in Brazil and Argentina and was responsible for operations and establishing new business opportunities while working remotely from Asia. I have always has a strong desire to take on a “good challenge”, and has always been open to new jobs in different and difficult locations, including countries where the native language is not English. I have used this ability and willingness to travel to new locations for business to learn and view the world from a different perspective than his native roots.VSG is the largest producer of Hydraulic lifts/Crash Repair equipment in the world. The World headquarters are located in Downers Grove ILL with manufacturing site in Indiana, Germany and China. VSG (Rotary Lift) was one the original companies that started Dover Corporation in 1955.
