I’m a communications professional with a background that spans remote television production, television news, K–12 public education, and the legal field. Since 2023, I’ve served as the Public Information Officer for the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, handling media relations, internal communications, social media strategy, and public-facing campaigns. I helped launch the office's standalone website and increased our LinkedIn following by more than 70% in one year. Before that, I led daily COVID-19 communications for a large suburban school district, coordinating messaging, public health updates, and crisis response across nine buildings. That role sharpened my ability to deliver clear, accurate information under pressure. My career began in television journalism, where I spent over a decade as an anchor, reporter, and photographer. I was recognized with an Emmy award and a Regional Edward R. Murrow nomination, but more importantly, I learned how to ask good questions, meet tight deadlines, and tell stories that connect. Alongside my communications work, I plan and manage fundraising events. In 2024, I directed a nonprofit golf outing that generated more than in profit — a 25% increase over 2023 and a 200% increase from 2022, the year before I began leading the event. Participation also grew by over 30%. I’m drawn to roles where clarity matters, the stakes are high, and communication can make a real difference.
