Steve Spinner is the Director of Medicare Advantage Sales at New Horizons Insurance Marketing. Steve has over 25 years of experience in the insurance business with a strong background in employee benefits. Steve is extremely passionate about Medicare Advantage, and he works day-in and day-out to assist senior market agents in growing their MA sales. He focuses on outreach, agent support, and marketing plans to help agents increase their bottom line while servicing their client’s needs effectively. “Some of the market trends suggest that Medicare Advantage is going to consume a larger and larger percentage of the senior market space. We’ve seen trends that project as high as 50%, although I'm not sure we can make that big of a leap just yet,” says Steve. While many agents focus on Medicare Supplements only, Steve believes that it’s important to start taking a look at MA now. “Even if you have preconceived notions about its value compared to supplements, the reality is that seniors want it. If they don’t get it from you, they’re going to get it from someone else,” he explains. Steve also heads up the Medicare Advantage content on the New Horizons blog, and he curates a weekly email bulletin for the new Medical Savings Account (MSA) product from Lasso Healthcare. “We’re heavily into the agent support system – we have great marketing strategies, and a ton of agent support,” Steve says. “It’s going to be incredibly easy to do business with us, so please get in touch if you haven’t already!” Steve is a central Illinois native, born in Pana, and he’s lived in Decatur since 1979. He is the father of two children, and the grandfather of four boys.
