About Steve Steimle

I have a acquired a wide variety of skills over my years in the business world. After nearly 29 years at Procter & Gamble, I have done everything from upstream development to downstream launch on product innovation. My drive, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to and learn quickly allows me to adapt and conquer any new challenge. I simultaneously own roles in Product Research and Development, Quality Assurance, and Emergency Response, which shows my ability to wear many hats when needed. I know several software packages, and am lead technical expert within my department on many systems. Additionally, I spent 18 years in the public Fire Service as a firefighter/EMT, and was a Fire and Emergency Response Leader at Procter and Gamble for another 8+ years. I owned several safety systems and programs within P&G, including fall protection, confined space, hot work, fire alarm, fire pump, and water systems inspection testing and maintenance. As P&G Fire Chief, I led a team of 50+ for emergency response and emergency planning at three different sites, and coordinated join training and response with municipal agencies. On a personal level, I enjoy music, sports, and cars. I play and teach guitar and drums, collect vintage die cast cars, and closely follow several local sports teams. I enjoy volunteering with Africa Fire Mission and Matthew 25 Ministries, at church teaching 2nd and 3rd grade children, and helping repair donated vehicles for the poor at Wheels in Cincinnati.
