About Steve Still

As a senior HR professional, I started in HR in 1997 and have not looked back since, gaining professional qualifications and increased responsibilities throughout my career. Previous roles held are HR Shared Services Director at Element Materials Technology, Head of HR at Forth Valley College and various HR and HS Manager roles with the private and public sectors. During the last 25 years, I have led, driven and contributed to organisations achieving their strategic goals while creating positive working environments for staff to thrive and enjoy coming to work. In addition to my HR career, I was recognised for my level of business acumen and had the opportunity to fulfil a General Manager role between 2005-07. The experience of managing a £3.5m turnover business has stood me in good stead since, as I fully appreciate the core elements of a successful business and know first hand how HR can help all departments achieve results.
