About Steve Tate

I am the founder of Tate Financial, a full service financial planning firm based in South Surrey British Columbia, specializing in financial planning and risk management. To complement the financial planning services provided at Tate Financial, I am an associate portfolio manager with Aligned Capital Partners Inc, and specialize in investment and wealth management. I am the co-author of the book "Paycheques and Playcheques" Retirement Income Solutions for Canadians. This book is based on the math and science behind a proper and successful retirement. Best of all, it's an easy read, packed full of great income generating strategies to help you or your clients through retirement! I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria, currently hold the following designations- CFP (Certified Financial Planner)- CIM (Chartered Investment Manager)- CHS (Certified Health Insurance Specialist)- RRC (Registered Retirement Consultant)- EPC (Elder Planning Counselor)- FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute)
