Trains all levels of users (simple applications and processes to developers and system administrators) • Training and practitioner experience in programming, web development, networking, and cybersecurity • Quickly learns any topic/product • Can create teaching material (Instructional Design) • Live or Virtual Training (synchronous or asynchronous) I love showing people how to use technology. With significant experience in Training, Instructional Design, and IT (plus two graduate degrees and six industry certifications), I am uniquely qualified to serve as a technical educator. I strongly believe that the success of a training, IT, or a support project is due to a firm understanding of the underlying problem. I also believe the tools used to build or facilitate a solution can make a difference, but that difference is secondary to really knowing what you are talking about, and that any experienced practitioner capable of creating or executing a proper design or solution can quickly learn any tool. I am more interested in position fit than job title, level, or compensation. I recently retired from 40+ full-time years in IT, and I am looking for part or full-time employment to stay active and earn a little extra spending money. tatestev84@gmail.com
