About Steve Vigar

I am a highly experienced service manager, serving the medical and analytical instrumentation industries for over 20 years. My introduction to instrumentation began as a Field Service Engineer; my passion for high quality and expertise across a number of applications resulting in recognition through promotions leading me to my current role of Service Director at Microsaic. I have worked closely with R&D both within the UK, and across the world, A close collaboration with colleagues in Japan saw the successful development of a new purification instrument for the global pharmaceutical market. In my current role I enjoy interacting with a broader range of colleagues, including R&D, engineering, operations, marketing, finance, through to our global distribution networks. I joined Microsaic Systems plc in July 2013. As their Service Director, I provide a customer-focused service, ensuring this high technology company maintains it strong position in developing and marketing chip-based mass spectrometry (MS) instruments. I truly am driven by my customers’ needs and will leave no stone unturned to ensure complete satisfaction.
