With over 20 years of experience in capital markets, financial leadership roles, and leading Wall-Street-best investor relations programs, I have honed my skills in capital allocation, financial planning and analysis, and corporate communications. I believe my strategic financial expertise and commitment to transparent communications can contribute to a company's long-term financial sustainability and growth initiatives. Some of my key career highlights include: 1. More than a decade of leading investor relations functions for some of the most iconic consumer brands in the United States including Panera Bread Co. and Dick’s Sporting Goods. At Panera, I was recognized by Institutional Investor as the “Best Investor Relations Professional” and “Best Investor Relations Program” within the restaurant industry. More than a decade of experience as a sell-side analyst at such stalwart research firms as A.G. Edwards and Stifel Nicolaus, primarily in the restaurant and grocery industries. As a sell-side analyst, I was recognized by both Starmine and The Wall Street Journal as the “Top Stock Picker – Restaurants.” 5. As a finance director at Proctor & Gamble, I was on the Iams acquisition team and responsible for forecasting a multi-billion-dollar P&L, and I was ranked the #1 financial analyst in the Home Care Global Business Unit. I am a 1992 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served 14 years in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer on various combatants in the Pacific and advised Congress on the U.S. Navy’s complex missions and future warfighting programs. I have a unique combination of FP & A and capital markets experiences, centered on a deep understanding of the macroeconomic forces that affect the everyday consumer and Corporate America.
