About Steve Will

LCol (Retired) Steve Will holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (in Military History) from the University of Winnipeg. He resides on a rural acreage North of London, Ontario, with his wife Melanie (an airline pilot), and children Jacob, Virginia and Selena; all are avid outdoorsmen, hobby farmers, skiers, and horsemen. The family’s passion is sport aviation; they spend many an afternoon flying with their grandfather in his meticulously restored 1951 Piper Super Cub.Steve now shares his experiences in the form of leadership seminars that focus on the benefits of proactive leadership techniques. His philosophy is born from years of operational military experience at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. His fighter squadron leadership and combat experience, combined with the highly demanding role of commanding the Snowbirds has provided Steve with a unique perspective on leadership effectiveness, both in peacetime, and in high stress operational scenarios. He focuses on combining top down accountability with bottom up empowerment and individual responsibility in order to achieve exceptional team performance.
