I'm a Technology Executive that: • believes the business should drive technology, not the other way around (technology and IT are not the center of the universe) • believes technology team members actually need to understand how the business makes money (shocking, I know) • believes you do not need to throw the baby ("old" technology) out with the bathwater (even though there is some really, really, cool stuff out there and people will tell you all of your problems can be solved by pushing the easy button) • believes yes, it is true, people really are your most important asset and the right people + right processes are often more important than the technology you choose (more shocking) • is comfortable NOT being the smartest guy in the room (some would argue that this is not difficult for me) • has tried and failed lots of times (not shocking) • likes having fun at work (if you have to be there, might as well make the most of it) • that loves MS PowerPoint (no, not really, made this one up to see if you were still reading) STRENGTHS: Strategic planning, Scaled Execution, Business / Technology Alignment, Creative problem solving, Team Building, Change Management, Program Management, Population Management
