About Steven Aguiar

Lead from the Front. That’s what people expect, demand, and deserve. I believe in building relationships and fostering respect. People are the greatest asset to any organization, and empowering them—by developing their skills and treating them with respect—creates strong teams. Those teams, in turn, make the organization stronger. I’m a seasoned law enforcement professional with expertise in criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, and security operations. I’ve played key roles in emergency incident management, motorcycle operations, and training as a Master Motorcycle Instructor. I’ve contributed to securing major events such as venues in Toronto during a Federal General Election, the PanAm Games, and supported the development of internal policies during the global pandemic. As a Detective, I’ve led criminal investigations, collaborating with various internal units and external partners to prevent crime, identify trends and enhance community safety. Leadership is what I bring, and what is expected of me. I take that responsibility seriously.
