During my US Navy career, I had the privilege of serving in the submarine force on Fleet Ballistic Missile submarines, our primary mission being that of deterrence. My post-Navy career has mainly been associated with our defense industry, most recently on the Trident II Life Extension program where I provided both software quality services as well as conducting Independent Verification and Validation testing on tactical flight software. I’m very focused on adding value to my organization and thoroughness in my work, for example I uncovered a potential issue with some flight software while conducting a series of IV & V tests that could have gone unnoticed had I not conducted multiple post-test analysis. I am very open to learning new skills and/or updating current ones. Most recently I have taken online courses in Python, Object Oriented Programming, and Thermodynamics – it's never too late to learn!
